Bill Sharp

Mr. Sharp is a senior executive with operational & financial management experience. He successfully performed corporate turnarounds, loan workouts, bankruptcy reorganizations, and implementation of systems and procedures. He held positions as full-time or interim President, General Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Finance.

Kathryn Gould

With over two decades of relevant experience, Ms. Gould has been responsible for numerous forensic accountings, and the related complex restructuring and commercial claims. She is a CPA.

Mergers and Acquisitions

John Samore

Mr. Samore was a senior tax partner for one of the large international accounting firms, having served with that organization for over 30 years. Mr. Samore now serves on the Board of Directors, and the Audit and Compensation Committees, of a publicly traded company, as well as performing consulting assignments involving tax planning for reorganizations, mergers, and other substantial corporate transactions.

Squire Junger

Mr. Junger has over 30 years experience, primarily with one of the large international accounting/consulting firms.  Mr. Junger has considerable experience assessing acquisition candidates and loan transactions, as well as the change management and integration opportunities associated with such transactions.  He has an MBA with Honors from Cornell University.

Dominique Hanssens

  • Education: Ph.D. Marketing, Purdue University
  • Expertise: Marketing, management, applied econometrics

Dr. Hanssen, the Bud Knapp Professor of Marketing at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, has expertise in marketing and management. Both his consulting and research experience cover a range of strategic marketing problems including market resource allocation, product-line pricing, database marketing and new-product strategy to which he applied his expertise in data-analytic methods such as econometrics and time-series analysis. He has served as an expert witness in several cases. Dr. Hanssens is the author of more than 30 articles on various aspects of marketing, including distribution, retailing, market expansion, advertising effectiveness, and pricing. He recently was selected as the winner of the prestigious John D.C. Little Award for his marketing paper, "The Category-Demand Effects of Price Promotions," published in Marketing Science in March 2001.

Corporate Governance

Lloyd Levitin

  • Education: J.D., M.B.A., Wharton Business School; C.P.A.
  • Expertise: Management, corporate governance, corporate finance

Mr. Levitin is the former Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Sempra Energy and its primary regulated subsidiary, Southern California Gas Company. His significant practical experience is useful in a variety of management and corporate governance matters. Mr. Levitin currently teaches valuation and financial analysis at the University of Southern California. In addition, he has spoken for numerous professional and trade organizations.

Competitive Strategy/Business Policy

Richard Rumelt

  • Education: D.B.A. Business Policy, Harvard Business School
  • Expertise: Competitive strategy, business policy, antitrust

Dr. Rumelt, the author of the Irwin prize book, Strategy, Structure & Economic Performance, has consulted on competitive strategy, business policy, and organizational structure to numerous firms. He has also served as expert witness in cases related to anti-trust, managerial practices, business contracting, the reasons for Savings and Loans (S&L) failures, and e-commerce. He is the Elsa and Harry Kunin Professor of Business and Society at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, where he has been on the faculty since 1976. In addition, he has authored numerous scholarly articles and papers on strategy and the economics of competition that have been published in leading strategy and economic journals.
